Accessibility statement
This statement covers the Chronix Scribe app and website. Chronix Scribe is provided by Chronix Health Group Ltd (company number 16663224, registered in England and Wales, registered office 11-13 Upper High Street, Epsom, Surrey, KT17 4QY, ICO registration ZB962513).
Our standard
We design and test to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to complete every main task with a keyboard alone, zoom to 400% or use a phone screen without losing content, use light or dark mode with sufficient contrast, and rely on screen readers announcing labels, headings and status messages. Source links never depend on colour alone.
How accessible Chronix Scribe is
Chronix Scribe is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. The known issues are:
- 3D anatomy viewer — the interactive 3D model cannot be fully used with a keyboard or screen reader, and turning it to any angle needs dragging (region presets, zoom in, zoom out and reset work without dragging). Findings recorded on it are also written into the note and the findings panel as text.
- Live transcript — while capture is running, new transcript lines appear continuously; screen readers may announce them more or less often than you would like.
- Image annotation — drawing on clinical images (pen, arrow, ellipse and measure) and on the 3D model (arrow and stroke) needs dragging with a pointer; the label, caption and body-region fields do not.
- Some older screens still have controls that are announced only by an icon, or focus that is hard to see in dark mode.
We are fixing these issues in order of impact and will update this statement as we go.

How we prepared this statement
This statement was prepared on 23 September 2026 from our own testing against WCAG 2.2 AA, and updated on 4 October 2026 after we tested the signed-in screens. We have not yet had an independent audit. We review it at least every six months and after any significant change.
